HESSAM

Swedish-Persian singer Hessam was born in Iran and emigrated to Sweden as a baby. Tossed from one culture to another, one of the first words he ever learned was “different”. Hessam was raised in a split middle-class family, and his teens were turbulent to say the least. To escape the house of an addict and a gambler he found his home in music - which thankfully led him on a brighter path.

After countless bands and shows Hessam shifted his focus to writing and finding a timeless and meaningful sound. Three years and three hundred songs later he is back with an EP oozing with retro synths and bouncy basses. Swiftly pulling you away to another dimension, where it’s always 1984, your walkman is your best friend and Knight Rider the ultimate hero. Dark lyrics pair with cheerful melodies and a fistful of attitude. Almost making feeling bad look good.
